Finance Manager
Job Description KEY EXPECTED RESULTS:
1. Responsible for revenue collection, deposit and disbursement of funds, including weekly cash drawdown requests. 2. Reconciles the checking account. 3. Prepares payroll for submission to an outside payroll agency 4. Maintains timesheets for all full and part-time employees. 5. Serves as human resources specialist for employee benefits. 6. Ensure polices and systems meet Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and applicable OMB circulars governing accounting for federal funds. 7. Ensures timely reporting of fiscal operations. 8. Oversee the external audit for the WIB and sub-recipients, review and analyze results and recommend for approval the audited financial statements. 9. Serves as the liaison for the WIB during state, federal or independent auditing, and develops corrective action plans for any findings or recommendations. 10. Prepare and review detailed budgets for WIB approval. 11. Make quarterly reports to the WIB of all income, expenditures and any variations from the budget for all funding sources. 12. Maintain day-to-day financial control of all expenditures by ensuring they are in accordance with Federal and state law and properly documented. 13. Prepares accounts payable disbursements for approval by the WIB. 14. Works closely with the Executive Director in contract preparation for sub-recipients and monitors the appropriate use of state and federal funds. 15. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies. 16. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. 17. Completes any other appropriate duties that may be assigned. |
